In the years 2004-2007 he has worked at the Tax Chamber, where he was responsible for appellate review of individual tax rulings. In the years 2007-2010 he was an assistant judge in the Financial Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court, where he was in charge of preparing draft cassation rulings, resolutions and prejudicial questions to the Court of Justice of the European Union regarding VAT matters. He is a lecturer at post-graduate studies on tax law and during tax trainings, is also continuing doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź.
Dawid Milczarek has many times advised the largest domestic and foreign enterprises on VAT matters, including, in particular from the standpoint of international transactions. He specializes in VAT planning, tax aspects of business reorganization (mergers, acquisitions, cross-border restructurings) and in the management of tax risk. He has managed numerous projects regarding the identification and use of the possibility for sustainable planning of VAT and other intermediate taxes. He helped businesses with the proper settlement of these taxes, with ensuring their financial efficiency, with elimination of errors and mitigation of costs and risks.
Dawid Milczarek has participated in numerous international and domestic training sessions and conferences on the issues tied to VAT taxation in the domestic and international aspects. Author of publications on taxes in specialist magazines. Lecturer at numerous conferences, seminars and workshops on taxes.
He is fluent in English and French.
